Take digital cameras, for example. To date, Amazon has 3859 digital cameras (and accessories) are listed ranging in price from $ 24,995.00 to$ 40.99. This is not a choice, that's a frackin "nightmare's!

Now we have to go from here? I have a simple guide to buying digital cameras promise, and I meant it. If we apply the 90% rule by one of my favorite old science-fiction writer Theodore Sturgeon. I did a lot of research and read a lot of review before deciding on this lens. I own a Nikon D90.

After waited for a few month, I finally got this Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 UWA lens just yesterday and have been playing with it for two days now.

First of all, it is very well build; heavy and solid feel in my hand. The weight does not bother me because I normally bring a monopod and use it whenever needed. This lens has excellence IQ, and it has a fast auto-focus. It performs very well even under low light condition. The images from this lens are very sharp; at wide aperture, it gives you a nice mild smooth bokeh.

In addition to being a superb lens for taking landscape photos, because of the lens distortion, where nearer subject is closer to you and farther subject to farther from you, it is excellence for taking photos with exaggerating effect.

I bought this lens due to its UWA quality so the limited range does not bother me. I normally plan ahead as to what kind of photos/theme I want to take for a particular day, and bring my lenses accordingly.

Overall, this is a superb ultra wide angle lens, and to me, it is certainly worth months of wait. At less than 0 and the quality, this is perhaps the best value for money UWA lens available in the market.

Never Canon PowerShot A720 IS Digital Camera

The A720 seems a lot of debate about it on quality. If you really think a Canon PowerShot A720 IS digital camera, you must consider both sides of the debate. With a variety of digital camera sellers flooding the web, it is not difficult to tell someone to see how big the A720 too. What you need is someone to point out to have problems. To connect, I am more than happy.

The A720 can not seem to handle children,or other fast moving objects without manual intervention. Most of the time you will end up with only vague images. By offering all the car settings such PowerShot, none of them is to have a fast shutter speed to shine. There is no "sport" mode, and even the "kids mode" is a slower shutter speed than expected. Of course, you can choose manually, but then you have to have all the settings manually, not only the shutter speed. This behavior sort of defeats the whole purpose of being an easy-to-point and useCompact.

Compounding the original problem is a slow flash recharge time. So, after your first blurry picture is taken, can expect to charge you a few seconds for the flash. So much for the inclusion of a fast second picture to try and make up for the mess book. The Canon A720 IS (and some other Canons) uses only 2 double-A batteries. Canon and others seem to have a tendency to move the camera with large LCD screens overload, and powerSucking flashes and then cheaply in the battery department. Even professional photographers rarely the photo they want on the first press release.

If you need a little more persuasion to other cameras, the view here is a brief summary of the other problems PowerShot A720 IS:

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Standard Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras Review

I'm going to put two sections, positive and negative and a description of both. Negatives will come first since everyone is always harping on how great it is-- I'm sure if your here you may want to know the bad things.

Negatives:

Weight: It is gigantic and weighs a lot. I'm a big lady and after using this lens on my 5D Mark II for 9 hours my hand and wrist had taken a beating. I also work with an attatched flash as well so that adds to the weight but on previous fixed focal length lenses I never had soreness. I use a wrist gaurd now to help support the weight of the camera when I am doing my wedding photography. While the weight is difficult, it is easily remedied by doing as I have done-- and I am grateful for the weight. The build quality in this lens is superior then any lens I have seen yet, and by the weight alone you can feel the quality in it. A heavier weight is a fair trade off, I think, to providing my clients better images.

Auto Focus: This is something that I have a honest complaint. I usually like to auto focus my work, but on some occassions I like to rely on the camera's ability to auto focus so that I can be sure to capture an image quickly-- this lens does not work that way. I have found, personally, that the auto focus is incredibly slow and often back focuses (focuses on the background and not the subject). It is absolutely vital for this function to work-- and it is practically useless in very low light. You will be standing there for 30 minutes waiting for the camera to lock focus-- this is not a problem I have with my other lenses and it disturbs me that after spending 00 that I cannot have my cake and eat it too-- or that the auto focus in my camera could be so slow. I'll have to play with it some more to make my final decision but for now I'll be relying on my natural ability to manually focus (which in 95% of cases is better)

No IS: Everyone is harping on it, so I won't go far into it. It's really helpful to have the IS when you are trying to handhold your equipment. Just somethng that would have been nice.

Positives:

Image Sharpness: When focusing manually, looks absolutely STUNNING.... if you get it right. This is not something that you can just pick up and do-- you have to be very precise with your focussing otherwise you will have a soft picture or it will just be out of focus. I have had no luck with the Auto-focus aspect of this camera (unless it is in bright light) and to really achieve the beauty that this lens can create-- you have to be good yourself. This lens will not make you a good photographer-- it demands knowledge and expierence to back up the user while shooting.

Color Saturation: Although some people say that this lens is slightly less warm then other lens-- I have found that, when the lens hood is applied (I shoot with it 98% of the time) the color saturation is gorgeous as well. I find very minimal times, except in bright light, where contrast and saturation need to be editted, it is just that good.

Mechanics and Ease of Use: I love the larger focussing ring-- it is so wonderful when manually focusing.

And that is all the positives I am going to report on. There are so many great things to say about this lens that it's hard to write them all down. Just know that this lens requires skill to use it properly. Spending a ton of money on your lenses and bodies will only produce the same quality images that you are capable to produce. It does not make you better but it may make you work to BE better.

When it comes to digital photography, my brother was the one who taught me everything he knew. He began to enjoy it when he was a Canon 35mm F-Series from our father. His digital camera is at the moment a 20D SL with a 420EX flash, which will cost thousands of dollars when you consider the L series lenses. Some time ago I bought the E500 dual lens kit will pay only a small percentage of what he paid, and it seems that it really does offer the bestBang for the money you pay.

One observation that my brother had was that he was missing the small LCD screen that his Canon had on top of the camera. The quality of the photos was good, so the post processing was minimal. When activated, the settings were vivid quality of the photos was better than the 20D model. Overall, this model was definitely worth the money paid for it.

A few months since I bought it and now I'm just as happy with the quality of the photos it takes. I still use the camera on a regular basis, and I recommend this Olympus SLR camera to others as well. So far, three people bought it based on my recommendation and they're very satisfied withit.

If you compare the money invested, my brother spent $ 4000 on his camera, while my own camera has invested only $ 700 a year. Its latest investment into the camera was the flash (580EX) and a lens that is wide-Angel L. I love how he can take pictures in burst-(3-4 photos) when using flash for all.
